How to cancel a pre-construction contract without loosing your deposit ?

When you are as disappointed as I am of the quality of 50 Biscayne Building located in Downtown Miami, 50 Biscayne Blvd. what can we all do ?
We need the help of a good lawyer, for sure. The finishing of the building is as inadequate as the material too.
The contract stated that the contractor has 2 years and 6 months to deliver the project. This date has already passed.
